THE 1ST CONGRESS OF THE DONG THAP YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ASSOCIATION TERM 2026–2031
On June 20, 2026, the Dong Thap Young Entrepreneurs Association successfully held its 1st Congress for the 2026–2031 term.
The Congress was honored by the attendance of Mr. Le Minh Hoan, former Member of the Party Central Committee and former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Kien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Pham Van Chuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Council; Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of provincial departments and agencies, local authorities, and leaders of Young Entrepreneurs Associations from various provinces and cities across the country.
In his keynote address, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Kien highly appreciated the contributions of Dong Thap’s young entrepreneurs to local socio-economic development and to the national young entrepreneurs movement. He encouraged the Association to continue strengthening member connections, promoting digital transformation and innovation, enhancing competitiveness, and actively participating in social welfare activities.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan acknowledged and highly valued the positive contributions of the business community in general and the Dong Thap Young Entrepreneurs Association in particular. He emphasized the pioneering role of young entrepreneurs in driving local socio-economic development and urged the Association to further strengthen its role as an effective bridge between businesses and government authorities. He also encouraged the Association to proactively identify and communicate challenges faced by businesses in order to facilitate timely solutions and contribute to a favorable investment and business environment.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Dong Thap Young Entrepreneurs Association for the first term (2026–2031), consisting of 28 members.
Mr. Tran Huy Hien was elected Chairman of the Dong Thap Young Entrepreneurs Association for its first term.
At the Congress, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association awarded the Emulation Flag of Excellence to the Dong Thap Young Entrepreneurs Association in recognition of its outstanding achievements.
